Aimee received her call yesterday!! She had intentions of opening that big white envelope on Thursday, because she didn't want to take away from Kaitlyn's birthday. But she couldn't do it!! It was driving her crazy! She did ask Kaitlyn if it was okay if she opened the envelope and Kaitlyn gave her permission.
Aimee has been called to serve for 18 months, beginning on October 13 when she enters the MTC, in the Cambodia Phnom Penh Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will serve the Lord and teach His Gospel in the Vietnamese language!! We had no clue that she would leave the United States, but to Cambodia and Vietnam? WOW!! And learn Vietnamese!! Wow, the Lord has everything under control. He knows where she is needed and she will serve Him faithfully.
The mission takes in all of Vietnam and all of Cambodia. Only 2% of the population is Christian, the majority is Buddist.
